Where to park in fowey

If you're looking for parking options in Fowey, there are several car parks available. :

Main Car Park: This car park is suitable for cars and coaches and has 269 spaces. It is situated on a hill above the town, so it's about a five-minute walk down to the town and a little longer up. A minibus service is available.
Readymoney Car Park: This car park is suitable for cars and has 60 spaces. It's close to the beach and coastal footpath, offering good views of the estuary. It takes about a ten to fifteen-minute walk into town. This car park is free from the beginning of November until mid-March.
Caffa Mill Car Park: This car park is suitable for cars and has 104 spaces. It offers boat launching facilities and is adjacent to the car ferry between Fowey and Bodinnick.

Cornwall Council sell a convenient 7 day rover ticket for these three car parks online:

Station Yard Car Park: This parking area is administered by Fowey Harbour Commissioners and is not suitable for Cornwall Council tickets. It is adjacent to Caffa Mill Car Park and offers a fairly level ten-minute walk along narrow streets into the town centre.

My favourite option is the free on-street parking after 10 Esplanade, PL23 1HY . You can park on the side opposite the double yellow lines. This a level walk from Saffron House with stunning views. On-street parking is subject to availability and operates on a first come, first served basis, however for most of the year free on street parking continues along Tower Park.

Squires Field Free Car Park: This is an informal free parking space and is suitable if you don't mind a ten-minute walk up a 75m hill.
